FACTS ABOUT ALL IDAHO DRIVERS ED PROGRAMS:

  • You must pass a Drivers Ed course to get a drivers license if you are under 17 years old.

  • All programs must have at least 30 hours of instruction

  • All programs must have at least 6 hours of in-car behind-the-wheel training and 6 hours of in-car driving observation

  • Upon completion of any Drivers Ed course, there is a 6 month supervised driving period before a student can apply for a full license.
